January 2025’s Glam Bag Design Is Quiet Luxury at Its Finest

BTS: Bringing January 2025’s Glam Bag to Life
Um…the gasp we gusped when we saw this bag! It’s giving goddess energy all day. Think of it as a palate cleanser that goes hand-in-hand with your beauty routine reset. Wong has the clean-girl aesthetic to thank as her inspo, and we love to see elevated basics done right.
“This month is all about quiet luxury. I wanted to tap into the mind of someone who is confident in their skin,” says Wong. “They put their best face forward by embracing a minimalistic approach when it comes to makeup, and they enjoy quiet luxuries like nice skincare.”
The bag’s frosty-blue hue is a stylish nod to chilly winter weather, making the entire design feel like a breath of fresh air, but with a twist! “I wanted to use woven faux-leather material to add interesting texture to the bag, and the contrast of blue against the touch of gold used on the button is eye-catching without doing too much,” says Wong.
But what does Wong want IPSY Glam Bag subscribers to feel? “I want our members to see January’s Glam Bag and think ‘I can’t wait to use this for my daily essentials!’” she says. “I want this bag to be a refresh for their beauty rituals. It’s time to clean out the old and start anew with just the basics—only ones that are better than ever.”
